Indoor bike storage is available in the following residence halls: Caneris, Race Street Residences, North Hall, Van Renssleaer Hall. The Univeristy has over 300 outdoor bike rack parking spaces and allows employee bike commuters to use shower and locker facilities in the Drexel Recreation Center for free.

Drexel Bike Share is open to all students, faculty and professional staff with a valid Drexel University ID and in good standing with the University. There is no rental fee to use a Drexel Bike Share bike. To be eligible to participate in Drexel Bike Share, the student or employee must complete a Drexel Bike Share Membership Agreement and, prior to each use of Bike Share equipment, a Drexel Bike Share User Agreement, which can both be found on the Drexel Parking Services website. The use of a Drexel Bike Share bike includes a helmet, u-lock, cable and lock key (the “Equipment”). All Bike Share Equipment is picked up and returned to the Drexel Bike Share hub located in the Parking Services Garage Office, Room #124, 3330 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (the “Hub”). Drexel makes no representations as to the availability of the Equipment. Use of the Equipment is strictly on a “first come, first served” basis. There are 20 bikes available for use by the Drexel community. On average, more bikes are utilized in good weather than cold or inclement weather. Drexel Parking Services saw the highest rate of usage during the program’s history in November 2012. Maintenance is completed as repairs are needed and include general tune-ups annually.

The ComPass Program is a SEPTA sponsored and Drexel University subsidized discount program available to currently enrolled Drexel full-time students that provides a 10% discount on monthly commuter passes. SEPTA supplies a 5% discount and Drexel provides a 5% match, giving a 10% discount. Drexel Student Centers oversees the SEPTA ComPass program for all full-time students. HR oversees the program for benefits eligible employees. University Facilities also operates three free biodiesel-powered shuttle bus lines to transport students, faculty, and staff within and between its three Philadelphia campuses.

Drexel Parking Services has partnerships with Zipcar, Inc. and Enterprise CarShare, car sharing programs on our University City and Queen Lane Campuses. These cost-effective and convenient transportation options are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all students ages 18 and older, as well as faculty and professional staff members. Drexel Parking Services also has (2) EV vehicle charging stations located on the University City Campus.

Per the University's Flexible Work Arrangements Policy, one option professional staff can pursue with their managers is a compressed work schedule, in which a traditional 40 hour work week is condensed into fewer than ten days of work over a two-week period.

Drexel University's Employee Home Purchase Assistance Program was established to encourage and support home ownership within defined borders of the Drexel University main campus community (Drexel). The program offers a forgivable loan to benefit eligible full- and part-time Drexel University, including Drexel University College of Medicine, faculty and professional staff toward the purchase or renovation of homes within defined borders.
