A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:

On the lower level of East Hall you'll find Olin's public bicycle program. Here a dedicated group of students works every semester to maintain a fleet of bicycles that students can use for trips to Needham or to cross-registered classes at Wellesley College and Babson College. The bikes are available to all Olin Community members after completing a brief orientation program. Students are also welcome to use the fully stocked bicycle tool area to tune, repair, or assemble their own tools.

While employees are returning to campus after COVID-19 lockdown, many have been given the option to work remotely for part of the week, greatly reducing their commute.

Additionally, students may take the Babson-Olin-Wellesley shuttle, which runs between the three campuses nearly every day during the school year.

Some professors and staff live on campus, which helps reduce the cost of commutes for them. Luckily, our campus is very walk-able, and has no roads that cars can drive on between buildings. This makes our campus much less car-dependent.
