A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:

Findings from the Campus Climate Survey demonstrated that ~67% of participants felt a sense of belonging on campus, ~66% of participants stated that they would feel comfortable sharing their views on diversity and equity at Saint Joseph's College, and over 25% of respondents stated that any disparaging remarks about other's identities were "often" or "very often" made by students. These results have initiated the first steps in implementing an academic JEDI requirement for all students, a revision of current Admissions practices, and targeted outreach to various community groups and organizations throughout Maine. Additionally, a new scholarship was created specifically for underrepresented students with financial need.
