The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) publishes an "Employee Earnings and Hours, Australia" report, which includes the median weekly earnings for full-time employees. The latest report (2021) indicated that the median was AU$1,592/week. Thus the living wage for employees at the University of Tasmania would be AU$25.99/h.
The University working week hours were used to calculate the hourly rate.
