The Provost Office conducts the COACHE (Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education) faculty job satisfaction survey on a regular basis. The most recent survey was conducted in spring 2020. https://reports.utexas.edu/coache

In spring 2022, the "Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Learning Survey" was administered to non-academic staff at the beginning of a structured assessment and action process. https://financials.utexas.edu/diversity-commitment/equity-diversity-and-inclusion-edi-committee/fas-edi-learning-survey

Student opinions on campus diversity are gathered through the Student Experience in the Research University (SERU). https://enrollmentmanagement.utexas.edu/resources/utell-us-survey/#acc2_col7

During the most recent Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSOC) accreditation process, it was noted that the university was in full compliance with regard to assessment, with several sub-units of the DDCE that work to increase and support diverse student populations were lauded for “thorough and candid presentation of outcomes, metrics, findings, and action plans.”

This will be part of the comprehensive assessment to be undertaken according to the University Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (UDIAP) and through guidance from the Financial and Administrative Services Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee. https://financials.utexas.edu/diversity-commitment/equity-diversity-and-inclusion-edi-committee

Student outcomes related to diversity, equity and success have been gathered through the university's Student Success Initiatives.

A number of assessment findings were used in development of the University Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan including data from SERU, the Employee Engagement Survey, the faculty report produced by IUPRA, and data gathered by the Campus Climate Response Team. Additionally, input was gathered from across campus to ensure CSUs, the Faculty and Staff Councils and Student Government had input into creation of the plan.
