WKU's campus has three EV stations installed on campus for community, student, and faculty use to promote use of alternative power fleet technology - EVs.

As of 2024, the University has reduced it's fleet by 15% since 2017. The efforts are ongoing and include using GEOTab telematics to monitor vehicle use, maintenance needs and driver behavior.
