A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Aquinas College is a Catholic, liberal arts college located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We strive to prepare students for their career path by focusing on leadership and service to others, while developing a sustainable and global community. The Aquinas College campus includes thirty six buildings, of which seventeen are residential. There are six LEED certified locations on campus, and a commitment to LEED in all new construction and major renovation projects. We are working to achieve a zero waste campus and are currently at a 69% diversion rate. The campus is 117 acres, consisting of 110 different species of trees and a variety of shrubs. We encourage recreational activity and promote use of the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center and the athletic field by faculty, staff and students.
