A brief description of the food donation program:

The College provides a minimum of one meal each month to the Tedford Family Shelter, and transports unused food from Moulton Union and Thorne Hall each afternoon to the local food pantry, Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. Also, during Commencement, Reunion, and winter Holidays, additional food donations are sent to Midcoast Hunger Prevention. Bowdoin donates an estimated 1,500 lbs. of hot meals each year to these local hunger prevention programs.
