Does the institution have an ongoing mentoring relationship with another institution through which it assists the institution with its sustainability reporting and/or the development of its sustainability program?:
Yes

A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

Yes. We are part of a group of 4 universities that we refer to as the "Associated Colleges." The other schools include St. Lawrence University, SUNY Potsdam, and SUNY Canton. Together We are in our 3rd of 4 years holding an annual Sustainability Day conference. One of the main activities for the event is a luncheon for professionals. Clarkson staff proposed this activity and are the primary coordinators. At the lunch we have multiple tables; one for grounds, energy, dining, student life, purchasing, etc. Each table has a representative from each university as well as a moderator to lead a relevant discussion on sustainability. Clarkson staff and faculty made up 6 of the 8 moderators for last year. Clarkson staff reached out to nonprofits with relevant expertise to fill other moderator positions. Through this activity we are able to get all 4 grounds directors discussing the ecological significance of no-mow zones, or to have a table of dining directors discuss ways to improve local food purchasing, etc.
