A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:

Orientation 2011: Orientation leaders and hall staff were trained to promote sustainable living; Green Team members encouraged involvement in sustainability programs and organizations; a model "Green” dorm room was set up in student center and new students were encouraged to view it at check in and over the orientation period; new students were served a sustainability highlighting meal. There was a sustainability film series over the fall semester, and tours of the new biomass plant have been offered to all students. The college also provides high efficiency light bulbs to students free of charge.
