A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:

The 2021-2022 inventory of faculty engaged in sustainability research was compiled by Philip Van Wagoner, Graduate Intern for the ECU Sustainability Program. Philip obtained databases of all research projects active during FY 2022 and sorted through the data to compile a list of faculty who are engaged in sustainability-related or -focused research.
