The third Strategic Priority in Fleming's Plan is Leading in Sustainability and commits the college to the goal of "results in ecological, economic and social sustainability through our programs and practices". Specifically, it includes strategies centred on reducing waste, reducing carbon footprint, and developing the Centre for Alternative Wastewater Treatment
