The Réseau universitaire québécois en développement durable (RUQDD: Sustainability Network of Quebec Universities) which brings together the sustainability advisors of all major universities of the province of Quebec, who meet on a regular basis and exchange advice and information on sustainability practices.

- Dr Sophie Bernard, from the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering, presented at various international conferences in the past few years. Some examples include: the 28th Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association (CREEA), Montreal, 2018, to present "Green design for durable goods with partial commitment ability and technological progress" or at the 6th World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists, Göteborg, Sweden, in June 2018 to present "Multidimensional Green Product Design".
- Dr Louise Millette, Director, Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering and head of the Sustainability Office, presented at the Journée Eau Economie Circulaire (Water and Circular Economy) held on December 6, 2018 in Bordeaux, France.

In 2018, Polytechnique Montreal submitted its Repair Café project to the Gala les Vivats (http://www.lesvivats.org/), a gala which rewards responsible best Practises in the event industry.
Selected from 106 nominations from all regions of Quebec, Polytechnique Montréal was one of the 13 organizations honored by the Vivats Gala 2018 on October 29th, 2018.
In 2019, Polytechnique also submitted the same project to the Gala Montréal durable (Montreal Sustainable Gala http://gala.cremtl.qc.ca/), which is a very important awards ceremony in Montreal, where many Montreal universities, private companies, NPO's and public bodies also submit projects. The Repair Café, organized by the Sustainability Office and the PolyFab Normand Brais, were awarded one of nine nominations for exceptional projects that were completed in 2018 in Montreal. An independent selection committee, set up by the Montreal Regional Environmental Council (CRE-Montreal), selected the finalist projects from among 68 submissions, a record in the history of the event.

- Sophie Fallaha, executive director of CIRAIG (Polytechnique Montreal research chair in life cycle assessment) is on the board of ECPAR (Espace québécois de concertation sur les pratiques d'approvisionnement responsable). ECPAR contributes to the value creation of organizations by fostering responsible procurement and sustainable development practices throughout their supply chains.
- Dr Catherine Morency, sustainable transportation and mobility expert from civil engineering department, is currently on the board of STM (Société de transport de Montréal)
- Dr Louise Millette, Director, Department of Civil, Geological and Mining Engineering and head of the Sustainability Office is currently on the board of the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute. The Canadian International Resources and Development Institute (CIRDI) was founded by three leading universities: University of British Columbia (UBC), Simon Fraser University and Polytechnique Montréal. It is an independent centre of expertise in natural resource-led development that works at the request of governments of developing countries which seek to strengthen their capacity to govern and manage their natural resources for the benefit of their people. The effort is concentrated in three areas: Public Sector Capacity and Governance, Environment and Climate Change and Artisanal and Small-scale Mining
- Dr Anne-Marie Boulay, from CIRAIG, is on the board of the Forum for Sustainability through Life Cycle Innovation whose mission is to be the global voice of the Life Cycle community to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable society by promoting global, systematic and effective application of Life Cycle Innovation.

1. Polytechnique's Institut de l'Énergie Trottier and McGill University's Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design (TISED) collaborate on a regular basis to organize events on sustainability issues, including their annual symposium, which is held alternatively in the two universities. 2. Polytechnique, Université de Montréal and HEC Montréal collaborate on a regular basis on various campus sustainability issues through the EDDEC Institute (Environnement, Sustainable Development and Circular Economy: http://instituteddec.org). For instance, in 2018, professors from Polytechnique collaborated with professors of UdeM on the MOOC on circular economy from the EDDEC Institute.
3. Since 2016, the Sustainability student committees of Polytechnique (Polysphere), Université de Montréal and HEC Montréal have jointly organized a "Douzaine du développement durable" ("12 days of Sustainable Development") every year that included a number of events.
4. Since 2017, Polytechnique and UdeM collaborate to organize the week Mon Campus à vélo, held every September.
