A brief description of steps taken to ensure that e-waste is recycled responsibly, workers’ basic safety is protected, and environmental standards are met:

Sheridan's technology equipment is leased and is returned back to the leasing company at the end of lease. Any of the equipment that is not leased, when it becomes unusable or surplus or reaches end of life by Sheridan's standards then it is disposed off via reputable companies that are part of Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES); this process guarantees the zero landfill requirements of the provincial government.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

Sheridan's technology equipment is leased and is returned back to the leasing company at the end of lease.
