The university’s policies are directed at its primary source of emissions; stationary sources. The University adheres to and complies with the regulatory stricture mandated by its Title V Federal Operating Permit (O-1298) required by the Clean Air Act in Chapter 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 60.7 and 60.49 and Chapter 30 of the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 122.145.

A brief description of the methodology(ies) the institution used to complete its air emissions inventory:
The university conducts Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMS) at all times for its emissions from fuel combustion for power generation. This equipment is tested for performance quarterly and deviations, if any, are reported to the State of Texas’ Regulatory agency. In addition, the deviation reporting is also done quarterly instead of the federal requirement of annual reporting.
