The university embraces numerous research projects that aim at understanding the economic, environmental, social and cultural needs from an integrative perspective in order to develop creative and innovative solutions that contribute to solving the social and environmental challenges.

The Sustainability Committee determined from the Research Report 2006 -2011, which of them were consider as sustainability researches according to the definition mentioned above. The Research Report was developed by the Direction of Investigation and Research of the university and considers investigations performed from 2006-2011 by faculty staff of all departments of the University.
