A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
LifeWorks is the employee assistance program for faculty, administrators, staff and their
families, which provides counseling, referrals, and other resources.
• In addition the University offers a comprehensive wellness program.
• The employee assistance program, LifeWorks, gives employees a real person to talk to, support on a wide range of issues, online access to resources, free booklets, audio
recordings, and other resources, referrals, and 24 hour help.
The wellness program includes health risk assessments, screenings, exercise programs, weight loss programs, smoking cessation, learning opportunities (for example: Women’s Wellness Series, Managing Diabetes), healthy menus at food establishments on campus and other related initiatives.
