Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

The count for academic departments at UT Austin was determined by counting the academic divisions that meet criteria outlined for credit intent for STARS.

Reporting what represents the most recent typical year of data, which comes from AY20-21.

***
Updated staff/faculty FTE calculation for reporting year due to moving to new institution human resources and financial system. Previously, “Annual FTE” (based on the appointment system) took into account scheduled weekly hours and the duration of the employment over the course of the entire year. Now, the system only uses scheduled weekly hours to determine FTE regardless of duration of employment, providing a snapshot view of the workforce at a single point in time rather than an accumulation over time.
