ULIFELINE
The Self Evaluator was developed for ULifeline by Duke University School of Medicine and screens for thirteen of the most common mental health conditions that college students face. This screening does not provide a diagnosis, but identifies problems that could be impacting thoughts, feelings and behaviors. The screening process also provides information on these conditions and how to reach out for help.

Kognito for College Students
At-Risk for College Students is an evidence-based online program that utilizes virtual humans in order to improve emotional wellness and safety on campus. Kognito is a program designed to teach participants how to recognize signs of psychological distress in a fellow student and allows them to practice, through role-play conversations, how to approach at-risk students and how to connect them with resources on and off campus.

Kognito for Faculty and Staff
At-Risk for College Faculty and Staff is an online professional development simulation designed to help faculty and staff build confidence, knowledge, and skills to best support students exhibiting signs of psychological distress.




Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Associations Plan (VEBA)
The San Diego Community College District Benefits Office provides Faculty, Staff, Administrators, Retirees, and COBRA participants with support on the District's Health, Welfare, and Retirement benefits plans by providing
one-on-one counseling and assistance over the phone, in person, via email, and maintaining an effective benefits communication program. The Benefits Office administers the San Diego Community College District sponsored
benefits plans and services in a timely and efficient manner.

Administrative procedure
This procedure outlines District protocols for implementing Board Policy 0505, Smoke and Tobacco-Free District Property including informing students, employees, and visitors regarding enforcement and consequences for violation of the policy. The success of this program is dependent upon the voluntary cooperation of the smoking and nonsmoking public. The District recognizes the fact that individual health can be impaired both by the direct and by the secondary effects of smoking. The District, therefore, prohibits smoking and the use of tobacco products on all properties and in all vehicles owned or controlled by the District
Board of Trustees Policy
California Government Code Section 7597(a) … no public employee or member of the public shall smoke any tobacco product inside a public building, or in an outdoor area within 20’ of a main exit, entrance, or operable window of a public building, or in a passenger vehicle…owned by the state.
