Through the end of 2022, AASHE is providing two opportunities to help institutions participate in the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS). Sign up today to participate in the 2023 STARS Cohort Program and/or receive a 20% discount off a new STARS Full Access subscription.

STARS Cohort Program

The STARS Cohort program is designed to guide new and returning participants through the reporting process by providing hands-on training and support. The ultimate aim of the program is for cohort members to submit for a STARS Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum rating by the end of the 12-month program (January – December 2023).

Eligibility

The program is open to any individual who is leading or helping to coordinate their institution’s STARS reporting, particularly those who are new to STARS or the current version of the framework.

Benefits

In addition to the existing benefits of participating in STARS, cohort members will have access to a full year of dedicated support, including:

  • Monthly calls with other cohort members and AASHE staff.
  • Insights into data collection strategies and other aspects of reporting.
  • Access to a private, online community to brainstorm ideas, share resources and ask questions.

Expectations

Completing STARS is a fairly time intensive process, particularly for institutions with limited experience in sustainability reporting. Participants should be prepared to spend a minimum of 10 hours a month working on their report.

Although there is no cost to participate in the cohort, a STARS Full Access subscription is required to submit for a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum rating.

EOY Discount for New Subscribers

AASHE is also offering a 20 percent discount through December 31, 2022, to institutions without a current STARS subscription. This offer is only applicable to new STARS Full Access subscriptions, not renewals (which are already substantially discounted).

How to Sign Up

To take advantage of either (or both) of these opportunities, please complete this form. An AASHE staff member will follow up with further information.
