Suggestions for Institutions
- Work with your institution’s Diversity office or similar to determine whether the institution’s work to address historic injustices qualifies.
Potential Data Quality Issues
- Evidence of publicly acknowledging and addressing an institution’s historic involvement in slavery, land theft, and/or other injustices is required.
- If earning the full 1 bonus point, there must be indication that the institution partnered with the communities impacted by its historic involvement in injustices to develop and implement a program of atonement, reparation, or repatriation.
