Comprehensive policies, plans or guidelines that require LID practices for all new projects

A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:

A brief description of the institution’s rainwater management policy, plan, and/or guidelines that supports the responses above:

In July 2011, four 68-foot long, 500,000-gallon tanks were installed at the construction site of the University's Center of Excellence Building (part of the Innovative Technologies Complex) as part of the largest rainwater-harvesting project to date in upstate New York. The system harvests rainwater from University parking lots, building roofs and other locations and sends it to the tanks where it's stored before being sent to the University's cooling towers (an evaporative type of cooling system) and for sewage purposes.
