The minimum total compensation is greater than 150% of the local living wage. The lowest pay grade for a regular/permanent employee is $23.95/hour. Benefits are at least 22% of the hourly wage. Not all of the non-monetary benefits are included in the 22%.

The total compensation package includes salary, vacation, statutory holidays, pension, sick leave, an extended health and dental plan that includes vision care, group life insurance, paid maternity and parental leave, professional counselling services, professional development funds, tuition fees waived for BCIT courses and free membership and exercise classes at the Recreation Centre.
