Butler hosts an annual Undergraduate Research Conference. The URC conference provides a platform where students can present their research, including research conducted for the field of sustainability to the public.

Food signage can be seen in Atherton Union as well as in the Residential College dining hall. Signage about trash and recycling can be observed at various throw away stations around campus. Additionally, signs reminding students and staff to turn off lights when they leave rooms are posted campus-wide.
