A brief description of the sustainable operations and maintenance policy/program and/or O+M rating system(s) used:

In 2008 the Faculty Offices East building was the first on campus to be LEED certifies silver under the Operations and Maintenance certification program. In 2017 three additional structures achieved their certification in LEED’s operations and maintenance (O+M) category. The Cotchett structure replaced Cal Poly’s original administration building in 1941. The ATL, was opened in 1999. The nearly Construction Innovations Center was completed in 2008. The remainder of campus is managed with a multi-attribute building management framework that monitors energy, water, and waste efficiency with our campus energy information system. The campus also uses green cleaning policies and air quality guidelines to ensure all campus buildings are maintained in a safe healthy way for all building occupants. Read more here:
