The electronics purchasing policy, directive, or guidelines :

We have a variety of brands of technology equipment on campus. Most recently we have purchased Konica Minolta printers and multifunction devices along with Dell computers. Our standard computer model is the Dell 9020M which is ENERGY STAR 5.2 qualified and EPEAT registered. Our student printers are the Konica Minolta C454e model, which are EPEAT gold certified and have an “Eco-indicator” that monitors paper, toner, and energy usage.

A brief description of steps the institution has taken to ensure that the purchasing policy, directives, or guidelines are followed:

The purchasing of our technology equipment is funneled out of our Information and Instructional Technology Departments and, therefore, the purchasing and selection is made through primarily one location to maintain ease of focus on purchasing EPEAT and sustainability standard equipment.
