Kristin Blackler Sustainability Director presents a two hour Professional Development and training class and Duke Elliott, Resource Conservation Specialist offers a two hour energy efficiency class. Both are open to faculty and staff. These offerings are from the MSU Human Resources office.
Leadership MSU is an intensive professional development program. Leadership MSU cohorts apply and are selected via a highly competitive process to participate in the year-long program. The Office of Sustainability is a featured speaker and facilitator each year.


A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :

Montana State University provides access to and support for a variety of training opportunities as they are presented such as the USGBC LEED v4 Green Associate Training and certification exam hosted by MSU's Engineering and Facilities team.

Staff positions exist throughout campus with sustainability as key parts of the job description. Each year these staff are evaluated for their progress toward reaching individual sustainability goals as well as progress towards the sustainability framework goals.
