A brief description of the sustainable food and beverage purchasing program:

Dining Services actively engages in supporting sustainability. Our "Made In Oklahoma" program is a monthly program on campus featuring promotions with local vendors. The students meet the local vendor, have free product samples, are introduced to creative recipes, and the items are offered in our dining operations. Dining Services has approximately 28 vendors in this program. Through this program dining is now offering cage free eggs.
Catering has developed a special rotating seasonal menu focusing on local and sustainable items.
This is our second year of hosting a farmers market on campus.
