Data provided here are for fiscal year 2021-2022.

For its annual Sustainable Development reports, Polytechnique Montréal's Sustainability Office team tracks the number of sheets of letter paper (8.5" x 11") and 11" x 17" format as well (often converted into 8.5" x 11") used per financial year. This data collection also measures the post-consumer recycled content of paper used at Polytechnique. When looking at the quantity of office paper bought by Polytechnique, letter-sized paper and 11" x 17" represents about 90% of 2014-2015 orders (99% in 2021-2022). It was thus decided that the data for these formats of paper would be considered as representative for this criteria for the STARS reports and for the annual Sustainability reports since then.
