Does the institution offer free or reduced price transit passes and/or operate a free campus shuttle?:
A brief description of the program:
Rice shuttles provide free transportation around campus, as well as to the adjacent Rice Village neighborhood, the Texas Medical Center, the Rice graduate apartments, and local stores, such as Target and Fiesta. Rice also distributes a Q-Card which allows all students to use the light rail and Metro buses for free.
