Does the the institution employ Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) as a matter of policy and practice when evaluating energy and water-using products and systems?:
Yes

Does the institution employ LCCA as a matter of policy and practice across the operations of the entire institution (i.e. all divisions)?:
No

A brief description of the LCCA policy(ies) and practice(s):

LCCA is used in numerous instances in OESS decision making.
During Green Revolving Fund decision-making, for energy conservation retrofits, a LCCA calculation is always conducted to make the final decision. Unless the project has a high LCCA score, the project is not conducted.

Secondly, a set of Sewanee Green Plus Building Standards has a section applying to LCCA. It explicitly calls for LCCA will be used to make decisions for building design decisions. For example, the new dorm being planned and constructed will have solar panels. This was decided due to LCCA.
