Yes

A brief description of the student sustainability research program:

Since the SDGs were added to the college's Strategic Plan, sustainability and its related courses have become prevalent in multiple academic programs.

Every senior must complete a final research project during their final year, and students from all majors can include sustainability research in their final project. For these projects, students can work with faculty and staff from any department. Facilities and the Sustainability Office may use data collected from these senior projects to implement sustainable plans for the college

The Robert O. Fehr Research Professorship in Environmental Science is a grant that any faculty member conducting sustainability research can apply for.

The library provides 24/7 "Ask a Librarian" services, interlibrary loan, and the Teaching Learning and Technology Center that all campus members have access to. The Purchase College Library offers research instruction tailored specifically to any individual, class, assignment, group, or club. All of these services aid in making sustainability research more accessible.
