LBGT

The LGBT Awareness Club has created and fostered an environment conducive to supporting LGBT students, encouraging personal growth and outreach, as well as exploration of one's identity, among the campus community. The club aims to raise awareness of both local and global LGBT issues, as well as support expression, communication and constructive dialogue of LGBT issues within and beyond the campus community.

Cultures & Languages Club

The Cultures and Languages Club at ACG organizes events on campus related to foreign cultures and languages, increases awareness of events taking place in Athens related to foreign cultures and languages and encourages students from various countries to meet and communicate.

Health & Social Awareness Club

The Health and Social Awareness Club was established to inform the student body on matters concerning their health through educational material, to encourage them to participate in health related conferences and seminars and to strengthen awareness about healthy living on campus, while fostering a sense of community among students. The HSA Club organizes lectures and events on campus, including the ACG blood drives of both semesters.

A brief description of the institution’s discrimination response policy, program and/or team:

ACG has developed a documented policy (Nondiscrimination Policy P0001) concerning discrimination issues in a holistic way. In this approach, guidelines are provided for equally preventing as well as dealing with discrimination incidents.

This policy applies to all students, faculty, and staff, including but not limited to non- supervisory staff, supervisors, managers, directors, and leadership. It is the responsibility of every student, faculty, and staff member to follow this policy conscientiously.
