A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

The University of California, Davis can be characterized as having five campus sites, in addition to a clinic network and a variety of small facilities and leased spaces. For STARS reporting, UC Davis reports on only its main academic campus in Davis, California. Campus sites and facilities locations include:

• SITE: UC Davis Campus adjacent to the city of Davis, California – academic, administrative, housing, and community facilities and research and teaching fields on a 5,300-acre campus. The following features are present at this campus: School of Law, School of Veterinary Medicine, Graduate School of Management; Student Farm, multiple museums, agricultural teaching and research fields; some School of Medicine facilities
• SITE: UC Davis Health System Medical Center in Sacramento, California – research, hospital, clinical and educational (School of Medicine and School of Nursing) facilities on a 145-acre campus
• NETWORK: UC Davis Health System Clinic Network – clinical healthcare facilities, mainly in leased space, located in cities throughout the northern Sacramento Valley of California
• SITE: Bodega Marine Laboratory – laboratory facilities, small boat fleet, and on-site researcher dormitory housing facilities
• SITE: Tahoe Environmental Research Center – two UC-owned buildings, small boat fleet, and leased space in the Tahoe Basin primarily for the purpose of research on Lake Tahoe
• SITE: Tulare South Valley Veterinary Medicine Teaching & Research Center, and California Animal Health & Food Safety Laboratory System in Tulare, California
• SMALL FACILITIES: Miscellaneous UC-owned small buildings or agricultural support facilities/equipment (irrigation pumps, for example) around the state, primarily in northern California; agricultural experiment stations and UC Natural Reserve System properties
• LEASED SPACE: Miscellaneous leased space around the state, primarily in northern California
