A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

University Fleet Management continually monitors fleet utilization and schedules replacement of gasoline-powered vehicles with EV or EUV units where application of unit is feasible.

UNL is also a member of Lincoln's Climate Smart Collaborative, which is a partnership between UNL, Lincoln Public School District, Lincoln Electric System, and the City of Lincoln. The Collaborative has contracted with Olsson Associates to develop an Electric Vehicle Readiness Plan.
