A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

The University provides professional, confidential counselling, coaching and support to its employees and their families through our Benestar Employee Assistance Program (See attached document). The program provides services linked to mental and physical health, parenting, relationships, finance and grief assistance as well as a flu vaccination program every winter free to staff.
The University also provides a number of wellbeing programs (see attached document) that include advice and activities linked to better sleep, mindfulness and fitness and nutrition. The University WHS area is currently running a years long campaign to improve and support the psychological health, safety and wellbeing of its staff through a new framework, awareness raising and supportive activities (See attached document).
