Of our 166 non-benefit eligible, lowest paid employees, 155 earn a hourly wage of less than the MIT estimated family of four living wage for our area of $25.86/hour.

All full-time employees earn at least living wage for an individual as determined by the Workers Center of Tompkins County. Health insurance and other benefits are also provided to Ithaca College employees.

According to Ithaca College Human Resources, IC has 404 of our 1,352 active employees earning less than the family of 4 estimated hourly wage of $25.86/hour or 31% of our employee population. It should be noted that based on our local estimated individual living wage, only 38 employees or 2.8% are paid under that rate.
