The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) shares information, facilitates events, and recommends initiatives toward the goal of dismantling systemic bias. The DEIC supports Purchase College’s mission of providing greater equity and access to all members of the campus community, with a focus on inclusive education, community development, and student success.
The college also has a Chief Diversity and Title IX officer.

Incoming students are required to attend cultural competency and diversity trainings during their first few days on campus.
Throughout the year, the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Center holds trainings and programs that any campus community member is welcome to attend.
