A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

The most notable measure has been the acquisition of four buses that run on natural gas in 2022, which has been a significant step towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). These buses have proven to be efficient, and their success is expected to drive the decision to increase the number of buses and replicate this measure in other campuses. Currently, over 80% of the university community uses public transportation to reach the university due to its accessibility and limited parking areas.
Also, the university has not considered implementing a specific policy to reduce the number of private vehicles on campus. This is because the campus dimensions are small, and the university community efficiently and safely travels on foot. Motorized and non-motorized vehicles are not used within the campus, as transportation is done by walking.
