Adjusted net Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions:
Performance year Baseline year
Adjusted net GHG emissions 23,976.30 Metric tons of CO2 equivalent 29,382.97 Metric tons of CO2 equivalent

Start and end dates of the performance year and baseline year (or three-year periods):
Performance year Baseline year
Start date July 1, 2021 July 1, 2016
End date June 30, 2022 June 30, 2017

A brief description of when and why the GHG emissions baseline was adopted:

FY17 was the year before the Office of Sustainability was formally organized. FY22 is the most recent year that we have completed an inventory of. Please note that we have had some buildings close and enrolment decrease, so some of the reduced emissions are most likely based on that.

Figures needed to determine “Weighted Campus Users”:

Number of other individuals resident on-site 0 0
Total full-time equivalent student enrollment 2,977.86 3,976.44
Full-time equivalent of employees 654 924
Full-time equivalent of students enrolled exclusively in distance education 45.16 11.92
Weighted Campus Users 3,052.78 4,183.39

Adjusted net Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions per weighted campus user:

Adjusted net Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions per weighted campus user 7.85 Metric tons of CO2 equivalent 7.02 Metric tons of CO2 equivalent

Percentage reduction in adjusted net Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions per weighted campus user from baseline:

A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives:

We have a yearly competition between residence halls to reduce energy and water usage.
