How has this credit changed between STARS 2.1 and 2.2?

Do the programs claimed in this credit have to address all three dimensions of sustainability?
To count, a program must have a primary and explicit focus on the concept of sustainability, the interdependence of ecological and social/economic systems, and/or a major sustainability challenge.
Does a program have to be a certain length to count for this credit?
Yes, to qualify, an immersive program must be one week or more in duration. Sustainability-focused immersive programs that are shorter in duration may be claimed under the Campus as a Living Laboratory credit if criteria for that credit are met.

- Ball State University – The response includes an immersive learning website and a detailed immersive learning inventory. Good reporting examples for large institutions or institutions where immersive learning is well-documented.
- Cornell University – Detailed descriptions of immersive courses offered by the institution.

- University of California, Berkeley – Response provides good detail on a single immersive program, the Global Environment Theme House.
