A brief description of the institution’s green athletics program:

The Bentley University Multi-Purpose Arena was certified LEED Platinum, receiving a score of 85/100. As part of the LEED scoring, the arena received full credits for its dedication to alternative transportation through offering preferred parking to carpool and low-emitting vehicles, along with easy access from public transportation.

The name "multi-purpose" arena holds true. Not only is the arena home to the hockey team, but is used as a living lab for students on campus to learn more about sustainability. Throughout the year, there are sustainability tours offered, where participants are able to learn all about the sustainable features offered in the arena. The Office of Sustainability also hosted a Sustainability themed hockey game, where fans were invited to learn more about sustainability through interacting with games and tables set up around the arena.
