A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:

The Sustainability Office sends out a monthly newsletter as well as messages via social media on twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. We also have a "Keep Current" section on our People Power Planet website where students can visit at their convenience to get information on Sustainability events and educational topics. The Green Team also sends out a weekly "Green Flash" to members.

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:

Yes, we have posted some signs at the entrances of some buildings to highlight the sustainability features of the buildings. In some cases, a digital interactive signs allows students to find out more about the sustainable features of the building. We continue to add signs each year.

Students have also developed a beta app that is an interactive tour of campus. https://www.linkedin.com/in/julianna-valenzuela-20b873170/

Yes

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:

We integrated some sustainability guidance into the Residence Life Handbook. We also created a Green Dorm Room guide. https://www.mines.edu/sustainability/green-dorm-rooms/. In addition, we met with RAs and had them talk to their floors about energy and water conservation on campus.


A brief description of other comprehensive sustainability outreach materials and publications not covered above:

Our People Power Planet campaign produced posters to put up in offices and kitchens for staff to learn about energy and water conservation. We did educate speak to department heads and had sustainability committee members speak to their departments. I'm not sure if this counts as a peer-to-peer program.
