A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:

The Organizational Development team in Human Resources recently hosted three employee focus groups to address employee engagement at Durham.

To ensure all employees have an opportunity to participate, we have extended the face to face focus groups to include an online survey. The questions address some of the 2010 Employee Engagement Survey statements that employees were asked to rank on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the highest). For each question we have included the 2010 survey score out of five (5).

This is a great opportunity to provide feedback and offer suggestions and best practices.
