A brief description of the plan(s) to advance sustainability in Dining Services/Food:

Dining Services continues to raise awareness regarding post consumer food waste. Staff is directed to offer samples and to provide a complete ingredient description of the foods they serve. Waste buffets will be constructed of wasted, untouched food items and presented each semester. Dining Services staff is planning to sort proteins and post consumer waste that will then be collected and brought to a facility able to compost. This would greatly reduce the waste that is brought to a landfill.
