Using the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs FY01 – FY11 Awards & Applications document listed on their website (http://www.marquette.edu/orsp/reports/index.shtml) as a starting point, Office of Sustainability staff extracted all research projects from FY11 awarded funding. Since Marquette has not adopted a definition of sustainability research, examples of sustainability research from the STARS Technical Manual were used. Staff then searched for each research project internally to see if it matched the STARS criteria for sustainability research.
