We take pride in offering a wide variety of sustainability courses on Udemy, making them accessible to all employees. As part of our commitment to professional growth, we recently held our yearly Employee Development Days from May 15 to May 25, 2023. The sessions ran from Monday to Thursday over the course of 8 days, and we hosted an impressive total of 68 unique sessions, amounting to over 120 sessions in total. With a dedication to fostering continuous learning, we saw a total of 2,442 attendees, with 665 unique individuals taking part in these enriching opportunities. In just the span of 8 days, we collectively attended an impressive 2,442 seats/hours of development activities. Courses sustainability concepts are listed below.

Any employee can submit a proposal to the Green Fund to attend sustainability conferences. In the past 3 years, the Green Fund has funded professionals to attend several conferences and invited speakers on campus for a more enriching sustainability experience for faculty.

Stewardship is one of 5 university strategic goals, and within that sustainability is a tremendous theme. From getting a new position through HR and in our daily operational decision-making, sustainability is a common theme. Employees are rewarded for their sustainability efforts via the Annual Sustainability Leadership Awards in the Staff or Faculty categories.
