A brief description of the on-site renewable electricity generating facilities/devices:

Skilled Trades and Technology Centre
Opened in 2018, the Skilled Trades and Technology Centre (STTC) at the Notre Dame Campus features solar panels on the utility building that provide 3KW of power that, when combined with the skylights and wall glazing, make the utility building almost 100% self-sufficient on certain days.

Roblin Centre
When it opened in 2003, Roblin Centre at the Exchange District Campus had the largest photovoltaic array in the Province of Manitoba. Installed for demonstration purposes, this technology spans the south facade of the building. The system has two major components - the solar array and the power conversion equipment. The solar array consists of 133 custom made photovoltaic modules in which solar cells are laminated between glass layers. The solar modules are incorporated into sealed glazing units of the building's curtain wall system.
