Aurora Winslade, Swarthmore College Sustainability Director, serves on the PERC Executive Committee and the Smart and Sustainable Campus Conference Program Committee.
Started in Fall 2016, Environmentors Program is in partnership with the nonprofit organization "GreenAllies" and with local schools. Swarthmore Environmentors work directly with students in the region on an environmental project designed to reduce their school's carbon footprint and help them register as an eco-school. The program is still getting off the ground but fall of 2016 very much included joint planning towards this sustainability and educational program.
Aurora Winslade and Nathaniel Graf, Swarthmore's Climate Action Senior Fellow, reviewed Yale's Carbon Charge proposal in 2016 after Yale sent it to them requesting their perusal and any edits or suggestions.
-Swarthmore's Office of Sustainability collaborated with PERC to plan a carbon pricing workshop.
-Swarthmore continues to work with Haverford College and Bryn Mawr College on the development of environmental studies courses
-Swarthmore has collaborated with regional schools on capacity building for sustainability initiatives.
-Swarthmore is in collaboration with Yale College and Vassar College on internal carbon pricing education
