Yes

A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:

There is a designated area for storing bicycles. Bicycle commuters can use shower facilities and lockers but their use is not dedicated only to them.


Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking for all occupied buildings and makes long-term bicycle storage available for students who live on-site (if applicable)?:
Yes

A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:

The institution currently has infrastructure for limited bicycle short term storage however limited to approximately 10 bicycles per occupied building.


Does the institution have a bicycle and pedestrian plan or policy (or adhere to a local community plan/policy) that sets standards and practices for campus streets to enable safe access for all users?:
Yes

A brief description of the bicycle and pedestrian plan or policy:

There is a strict ACG campus access policy that includes the following important points:
1.No vehicles are allowed beyond the Deree Gate towards Admissions (200 level) other than Admissions guests/visitors that are allowed to park in front of the Office of Admissions.
2.Vehicles allowed to go up the road towards Communication’s building must be driving slowly and be very cautious of other cars, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians.
3. Between 15:30 – 15:45 no car is allowed to use the Central Gate for safety reasons, for Pierce students are in the parking lot boarding the school busses at this time.

A brief description of the mass transit programs:

The Institution provides free shuttle bus services to the community towards both the Metro station Nosmismatokopeio. In addition to this service twice daily (both directions) the School operates 2 free shuttles that accommodate commuters (students staff faculty) across the entire Athens metropolitan area.

Yes

The shuttle-buses can accommodate limited bicycle storage space for a return trip but have extensive storage for alternates modes of transportation (including skateboards and scooters)

For injured and handicapped students and faculty there are policies and strategies as well as priority to ensure their access to the entire campus using the ACG electric cars negating the need to be driven to the buildings of the College.
